Nature of the Website

This is a private reference resource. It does not hold Cass County jail records, Minnesota correctional records, or federal custody files. It cannot confirm present custody, release anyone, change a public record, or file a document with an agency or court.

The site points visitors toward public inmate and jail-record resources in Cass County and Minnesota. Some search functions connect to independent research providers whose own terms and prices apply.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without harming another person or the service. In particular, a visitor must not:

• Break any local, state, federal, or other applicable law
• Use information to stalk, threaten, harass, or intimidate
• Use site content for a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision
• Attempt to enter an account, server, or system without authorization
• Deploy bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools
• Disrupt access, security, performance, or use by others

No Consumer Reports

Cass County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not supply background checks, credit reports, or other consumer reports. The same is true of the advertising services presented as ads on the site. A visitor agrees not to use site information for:

• Decisions about hiring, firing, promotion, or other work
• Housing applications, leases, or tenant selection
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance rates
• Licenses, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to Sheriff and corrections sites, release records, government portals, legal resources, and independent search services. A link does not endorse its destination. Cass County Released Inmates does not control an outside site's content, data handling, availability, or terms, and visitors should review those terms before using it.

Service Without Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made that:

• Any record, address, date, or explanation is complete and current
• Access will be continuous or uninterrupted
• The service is free from errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• A partner search will return every relevant public record

Custody status and public data change often. Nothing published here is an official statement by Cass County, a sheriff, a court, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the broadest extent Minnesota law permits, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, use of, or reliance on the site or an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the site, its operators, and its content or service partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that visitor's use of the site or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Content

Unless a source is identified otherwise, the site's original text, graphics, logos, organization, and code belong to Cass County Released Inmates or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, modified, or distributed without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These conditions may be changed at any time. A revision becomes effective when the updated text is posted on this page. Continued use after posting means the visitor accepts the revised terms.

Restriction of Access

Access may be suspended, limited, or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when use threatens the site, violates these terms, or harms another person.

Minnesota Governing Law

Minnesota law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Minnesota.

Severability of Provisions

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
